Scott Mackenzie shows in this film talk how manifestos changed the world. An evening in collaboration with the Holland Festival.
In response to Manifesto by festival artist Julian Rosefeldt, a film installation on show in Casco Amsterdam in June, Mackenzie looks at the role of film manifestos in challenging and criticizing dominant ideologies. Mackenzie is assistant professor of Film and Media Studies at Queen”s University in Kingston, Canada. He is the author of Film Manifestos and Global Cinema Cultures (2014). An evening in collaboration with the Holland Festival.
