Between 1967 and 1975, Eddy Merckx won everything there was in professional road cycling, leaving his competitors in the dust: five Tour de Frances, five Giro D’Italias, three World Championships, a Vuelta de’Espana, a legendary world hour record in Mexico and countless one-day classics.
Inside less than a decade he grew to become the ultimate cycling legend, nicknamed ‘the Cannibal’. However, the more he won, the more admiration turned to polatisation. Merckx follows the greatest cyclist of all times exceptional course.
