Under the burning sun of north-eastern Brazil lies Motel Destino, a neon-lit refuge for people with secret desires. A tense love-triangle develops replete with jealousies, desire and revenge.
The small Motel Destino, run by the coarse Elias and his unhappy wife Dayana, is a world unto itself: a place where the night writes its own laws. On the run after a failed assassination attempt, the 21-year-old Heraldo seeks refuge at the remote roadside motel. Dayana, imprisoned in a life of unrequited desires, becomes fascinated by the young fugitive and decides to offer him sanctuary. However, Elias doesn’t trust the newcomer. Heraldo and Dayana hash out a dangerous plan to escape their fates and Elias.
