Icelandic filmmaker Benedikt Erlingsson’s excellent debut impresses with its incredibly strong images and dry sense of humour. The film, which is set in an Icelandic community of horsemen and contains breathtaking shots of Iceland’s landscapes, includes some truly absurd situations in which sometimes the horses, sometimes the men, lose out.
