Pawel Pokutycki presenteert: Communiceer! Oude nieuwe media
In the 1910s, film was a medium as novel as today’s interactive Net-based media. Interaction designer Pawel Pokutycki reflects on the advances made so far.

What has remained the same is the fascination for technological communication. People in Desmet”s films talk endlessly on the phone and send each other telegrams. There is even a kind of videophone. An early form of skype, with all the risks involved: mistaken identities and psychoses are always lurking in the background.Compiled and presented by Pawel Pokutycki (1980), interaction designer and lecturer at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Live music by Andy Moore (electric guitar) and Yannis Kyriakides (electronics)
