poster Researchlabs 2024: Piet Zwart
From a messy room on the fourth floor of a building in Rotterdam, we roam together the landscapes of the city, of the sea, of our bodies, of time, of the present and the past. We engage with emotional and geographical landscapes to disclose the hidden and invisible stories surrounding these architectures. Architectures from where we can fall and around which we gather, casting shadows on their walls.

The landscape is not merely a tangible terrain, but a surface where meeting points between opposites become visible. It is made of traces and imprints, of emotions once felt, bodies once there. With introspection and curiosity, we navigate through these fields, digging into the rules and the matter that their layers reveal.

We invite you to linger with us in this space of discovery… of recovery: the unknown once known, made known again is not the same. This one-hour programme brings together the work of seventeen artists: Giorgos Achilleos, Tesse Baardman, Rodolfo Ferro, Nihal Goal, Toto Kersten, Aratrika Keshan, Tessa Langeveld, Zhuang Leng, Yana Lineva, Luca Neumann, Tom Parolin, Noura Rabbani, Bojan Salaj, Riccardo Santalucia, Jingfeng Shen, Chanwoo Song, Dominique Westphal.
