Nikolai van der Heyde / NL, 1966 / 81 min.
Together with Pim de la Parra and Wim Verstappen he was one of the co-founders of Skoop, the film magazine that was going to shake up the bland landscape of Dutch cinema. His first feature-length film, Een ochtend van zes weken (A Morning of Six Weeks), was hailed as an original New Wave variation. Restored & Unseen honours Nikolai van der Heyde, who died on 6 August this month, with a special 35mm screening of his feature film debut.
