An impossible homage to a dramatic choreographer, a grandfather's unread letter, dancing as a way to reach an unknown cultural heritage, and a film composed solely of the critical moments before performers step on stage come together in a program defined by anticipation, intimate enigmas and unfulfilled goals.

For the first time, Cinedans presents the International Short Docs Competition. Addressing some of the most pressing matters of our times. 12 films from 11 countries use the moving body to bring urgency, reflection and emotional immediacy to the big screen.

The program is accompanied by a Q&A with the makers present.
