Cinedans 2026: Shorts 2: Crossing Thresholds
Crossing from winter to spring and moving through aquatic and terrestrial mythologies, this screening of the International Short Film Competition evokes the sensation of standing on the threshold of a new world.

The presence of whales and chimpanzees, Japanese Ama drivers and ghosts of the past compose a dance that is at once mystical, breathtaking and liberating.
The International Short Film Competition brings together the best and most recent dance films from around the world, with 29 films from 26 countries competing for the Cinedans Jury Award and the Cinedans Encouragement Award.
The program is accompanied by a Q&A with the makers present.
