Small Axe - Red, White and Blue
Steve McQueen / GB, 2020 / 80 min.
The true story of Leroy Logan, a forensic scientist who wanted to make a difference in the London Metropolitan Police.

When Leroy Logan witnesses his father being assaulted by two police officers, he decides to revive his childhood dream of becoming a police officer. He is driven by the ambition and the naïve hope of changing racist attitudes in the police force from within.
Logan has to face the consequences of his father’s disapproval, let alone the blatant racism he encounters in his new role as an officer of the Metropolitan Police Force. Actor John Boyega is widely acclaimed for his role as Leroy Logan.
