Commander Shackleton managed to save his crew by setting out on a rescue mission with five others, rowing for more than a thousand miles to find help. The film shifts effortlessly from travelogue stills to corporate film style and from expedition footage to nature film footage.With live musical accompaniment by Mark Alban Lotz.
