Spione affiche eye

Fritz Lang”s seminal masterpiece Spione is full of colourful characters: a policeman who has infiltrated the underworld, a Machiavellian criminal, an officer secretly working for the enemy, a magnanimous Russian lady spy and an Asian agent in the clutches of a temptress. Their paths cross in a head-spinning tumble of events.

intrigues and blackmail

Fritz Lang”s penultimate silent film is a meticulously composed and labyrinthine spy thriller. Lang”s famously careful observation of detail is combined with a masterful story full of intrigue, espionage and blackmail.
