Jack Dorgan (Jack Holt) is the best diver in the Navy. His buddy Bob Mason (Ralph Graves) would, if necessary, risk his life to save Jack, without hesitation. The pair are also best friends on dry land, but their friendship is put to the test when Bob unknowingly falls in love with Jack’s wife Bessie.

In the Netherlands, the film was released in the silent version, with live musical accompaniment. The live music for this performance is by pianist Matteo Myderwyk: Matteo has developed a unique musical style in recent years by combining his classical background with free jazz. He is not only the first Dutch pianist to sign with record company Warner Classics, but also the first Dutchman to be nominated for an Edison Award in the Neo-Classical category two years in a row.
