Spain, summer of 1993. Frida is six when she has to move in with her aunt and uncle in the countryside after the death of her parents. They try to make Frida feel at home, but she resists. Their own little daughter Anna bears the brunt of Frida’s discontent, who would like nothing better than return to the city and contrives to go back.
