Sunset Blvd. + Rob van Scheers in Hollywood

Sunset Blvd. + Rob van Scheers in Hollywood

Billy Wilder’s poignant, cynical portrait of a has-been film star who surrounds herself with famous faces from the past won no less than three Oscars. Introduced by Rob van Scheers, who shares his adventures in Tinseltown with us in his new book, In Hollywood.

poster Sunset Blvd. + Rob van Scheers in Hollywood
Author and culture reporter Rob van Scheers has spent a lot of time in Hollywood during the past 35 years. In his book In Hollywood, he reports in sparkling prose on often bizarre escapades during his meetings with famous actresses and directors. Along the way, he dissects in his inimitable way the cast-iron laws of film genres and the house styles of makers such as David Lynch, Quentin Tarantino and Jordan Peele. The introduction will be in Dutch.

Sunset Blvd. will be screened in a 4K restoration with Dutch subtitles.
