Tarkovski in zes lezingen + Stalker

In his six-part lecture series (in Dutch) Slavic studies specialist and Russia expert Otto Boele (Leiden University) considers the social and political realities underlying Tarkovsky’s films. The lectures are followed by a thematically related film by Tarkovsky. This autumn the Filmmuseum devotes a major exhibition and comprehensive film programme to the master filmmaker who died in 1986.
