Occasioned by the death of actor William Hurt on 13 March 2022, Eye will screen The Big Chill, a comedy-drama about a group of former university activists who have had to bid farewell to their youthful ideals. Featuring William Hurt, Glenn Close, Jeff Goldblum and Tom Berenger.

After a shocking suicide, a group of thirty-somethings have a weekend get-together before their friend’s funeral. They reminisce about their youthful activism in the 1960s. Nowadays they mainly struggle with the insecurities of adult life in the 1980s, having lost their ideals somewhere along the way.
