The Body Doesn't Lie - Thomas Bos (155)

Cinedans invites Thomas Bos, core member of the dance group 155 - eenvijfvijf, to curate a special program with a selection of short films, video clips, Internet memes and other visual inspirations that have influenced his artistic practice.

155 believes that movement is a language that everyone speaks and uses an expressive movement language to create performances and films that deal with real life. They ridicule serious things and take ridiculous things seriously, not shying away from humor and relatability. Thomas Bos, the driving force behind 155’s filmmaking, will also present the premiere of the company’s latest work, WEST, a short dance film about the observations of a group of biker friends as they travel to Ghana.

Additionally, the four previous films - GAT, Leer, Stompen and The Ginger Connection by Thomas & Erik Bos and the dancers of 155, all previously showcased at Cinedans, will be available to stream at Cinedans WEB.
