Los Angeles, circa 1920. In silent film-era Hollywood, stuntman Roy Walker ends up in hospital after an on-set accident. There he becomes friends with a young girl who he tells a fabulous story about epic heroes who take revenge on an evil ruler. The story transports her away from the hospital to the exotic landscapes of her imagination.
