The Miracle of the Sargasso Sea

Tough detective Elisabeth is transferred from Athens to Missolonghi in western Greece, but would give anything to leave her new posting. But then a mysterious death – is it a suicide? – rocks the small town. Elisabeth bonds with Rita, who has a job processing eels in the local fish factory. The third feature film by Greek director Syllas Tzoumerkas is an almost surreal psychodrama.
