The theft of two impressive paintings leads to an unlikely friendship. During the portrait sessions, the artists and art thief engage in deep conversation and a special bond develops between them.
CCTV shows an artist that her work was stolen by a drug addict whom she subsequently confronts in court. In lieu of reparations, she asks him to pose for her for a portrait, which leads to the development of a complex friendship between painter and thief.
