A heartbroken woman seeks revenge after her lover’s betrayal. A couple longing for a child discovers an abandoned baby in a public toilet. Nisa, who just had her first period, is forced to confront the reality that she can no longer compete in a swimming race. In the final segment, Kempes wakes up in a world where gender roles are completely reversed.
The anthology offers a fresh, intersectional take on female-centered narratives in Indonesian cinema. While the final segment introduces a playful tone, it ultimately confronts the audience with the deeply normalised structures of patriarchal society and offers an imagination of a fairer world.
