1823. Hugh Glass and his half-native American son Hawk steer a group of trappers through the wild north. Glass survives an attack from native Americans and a grizzly bear, but is powerless when one of the fur trappers kills his son. Once recovered he sets out on his own, determined to track his son”s murderer.
Screening is part of the film programme accompanying Alejandro González Iñárritu”s ground-breaking VR installation CARNE y ARENA, presented by the Eye Filmmuseum.
