Five strangers become involved in a number of mysterious, supernatural events they are unable to explain: a flock of starlings follows José everywhere; Joana’s walking stick causes tiny fault lines to appear; Joaquim is suddenly able to pick up huge boulders; and Maria finds out that a thread she pulls from a sock has no end. Pedro is the only one to feel a strange vibration – which eventually leads to the Iberian Peninsula separating from the European mainland.
