The terrorist attacks in Paris in 2015 shocked the world, with the most victims falling in the Bataclan venue. Director Isaki Lacuesta based his film on the recollections of a Spanish survivor, wondering: how does a young couple survive such a trauma?

French-Spanish couple Céline and Ramón go to the Bataclan, looking forward to the performance by a hard rock band. While they are inside, a group of terrorists open fire on the crowd; Céline and Ramón manage to reach the dressing rooms, separately, where they hide for many hours. We see the two them, wrapped in silver emergency blankets, returning home – how will they deal with these events?
