19-year-old Alyssa is fiery. It’s a shame there is no way for her to express that in her remote home in Tunisia where she is bored senseless. When the opportunity arises to go to Europe, Alyssa asks her best friend from childhood Medhi to accompany her on a trip from Tunis to Djerba. He is a dreamer and artistically talented, she is a hustler with a will to succeed. Their friendship is tested as the dangers of travel conjure up traumas from the past.
