Based on the true story of Jan Mikolášek, a herbalist who devoted his entire life to caring for the sick even in the face of major obstacles.
Mikolášek was born on the eve of the twentieth century. He made a name for himself with his unorthodox methods to cure a range of diseases. Long before WWII, the healer grew rich and famous in his native Czechoslovakia. He resolutely continued working under both the Nazi occupation and the communist regime.
