The self-taught filmmaker Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese is a powerful new voice in cinema. His Mother, I Am Suffocating. This Is My Last Film About You vibrates with images, sounds and an undefined sense of anger and longing. A woman carrying a wooden cross on her back is followed by sellers, beggars, passers-by, outraged voices, and curious looks as she makes her way across the country.
