Filmmaker and visual artist Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese incorporated the story of his own grandmother and many other people who were forced to leave their homes in the rural areas in Lesotho in this melancholy modern tale. The widowed Mantoa decides to fight back.

Mantoa is an 80-year-old widow. In the small village where she lives in the mountains of Lesotho she receives some devastating news. Her son has been killled in a mining accident. His untimely death makes it difficult for Mantoa to cope with her existence. God, the village, even reality seem to fade away fast. The widowed Mantoa prepares for her end by arranging her funeral and putting worldly things behind her.
