Julia Ducournau / FR, BE, 2021 / 108 min.

This winner of a Golden Palm in Cannes is a psychopathic mix of Crash and Tetsuo, about the tense relationship between a father and his daughter, a serial killer who becomes pregnant by a Cadillac. Following her devastating debut Raw, Julia Ducournau again presents a wild, subversive thriller.

poster Titane (Julia Ducournau, FR 2021)
Since her early, short films, Julia Ducournau has had a weakness for body horror, protheses, special effects and physical mutations. Following on from her intimate cannibal drama Raw (Grave), in Titane she pushes the pedal to the metal. Only the second film by a female director, after The Piano, to win a Golden Palm.
