Romy Schneider was the most celebrated star of European cinema in the ’60s and ’70s. Shortly before her death, she bared her soul in a notorious interview with dyed-in-the-wool Stern reporter Michael Jürgs and photographer Robert Lebeck, one of her old flames. Filmmaker Emily Atef reconstructed the interview which was conducted over three days at a spa in Quiberon in Brittany. Marie Bäumer gives an unforgettable performance as the tormented Romy Scheider.
