This emotional rollercoaster by Romanian filmmaker Tudor Giurgiu undulates between drama and comedy, painting a portrait of contemporary Romania. The story, shot in a single take, presents the dismay of young bride-to-be Bianca when confronted by her impending groom’s mistress.
It seems like nothing can mar the blossoming happiness of young engaged couple Bianca and Victor; they’re going to get married in an idyllic coastal setting on the Black Sea, and are keenly discussing their plans for the future. Suddenly, an unfamiliar woman bursts into the bridal suite – Victor’s secret mistress.
