Portrait of ninety-year-old Agatha by her niece, Canadian artist Amalie Atkins. Agatha steadily carries on working in her garden, sowing and harvesting to the rhythm of the seasons. Atkins records this almost archaic lifestyle using her 16mm Bolex camera.
Agatha Bock is ninety years of age, and still completely independent. She lives alone on the farm that’s been in her family for generations and works the land, in spite of the nagging health issues that age brings.

Preceding Agatha's Almanac, you will see Earth Of Delightful Gardening (6') by Francien van Everdingen from 2009. The viewer takes a pleasant stroll through a garden where time and space do not behave in linear fashion, and where goal-oriented viewing does not matter for a moment.
