Having won a prestigious international award, journalist Silverio returns to Mexico. There, much to his surprise and astonishment, he is confronted by the madness of his memories and fears. Silverio grapples with issues of identity, success, mortality, the history of Mexico and his deep-rooted family ties to his wife and children. In short, what it means to be human in these remarkable times.
