BFFE - Zen for Nothing

The monastery, run by a Berlin priest who is atypical to say the least, seems like a refuge for travellers in search of spirituality. But if you look closely, what initially seems like an oasis in the midst of nature is slowly becoming a place where people try to pay for their sins. Unable to free themselves from their consumer behaviour, the monastic prisoners are tormented, looking for something without a name or form, which they know can save them. An illusion that they realise is colliding with the solution sold by many new age gurus. Between the reflections on being, the Zen philosophy and the everyday, Zen for Nothing portrays an extraordinary contemporary humanity, universal in its imperfections.
