Ziggy and Bas are best friends who compete during the annual hut building contest held during the summer holidays. Because Ziggy is heading for grammer school and Bas is going to a vocational school, Bas doesn’t want to cooperate with Ziggy. The differences between the secondary schools, their parents’ expectations and falling in love with a girl turn a simmering disagreement into a boys’ war.
