Brand New Landscape
Yuiga Danzuka / JP, 2025 / 115 min.
Delicate family drama about a brother and sister who suddenly come into contact with their father – an architect who they haven’t seen for a very long time – again. Yuiga Danzuka’s feature debut is also a meditation on the rapidly changing face of Tokyo. Nothing persists.
Ren is a courier, delivering flowers around the city. During one of his deliveries, he suddenly finds himself face-to-face with his father Hajime, a well-known (landscape) architect. They haven’t seen one another for years.
