How do riots start? How does it feel to be an aggressor, victim or bystander in a raging mob? Captured is an immersive installation that allows you to experience this for yourself. Your digital doppelganger steps into a virtual community of groups that soon oppose one another. As both actor and spectator, you experience how peer pressure and behavioural contagion can drag individuals into situations that are no longer easy to control. Free admission.

We like to think that we’re responsible individuals with control over our actions. But sometimes situations arise in which collective instincts become dominant. In such power dynamics, reason can be pushed to the background and the basic fight, flight or freeze responses take over. In such situations, radicalisation can arise.

Open daily 10:00-23:00, 12 May through 6 June.

Virtual Reality in Eye

Virtual Reality productions are an increasingly important element of the contemporary film experience. Eye has created Virtual Reality in Eye, a programme that focuses on VR. You’re not confronted with the flat surface of a film screen. You move around virtually in 3D through a designed space that surrounds and immerses you on all sides.
