Paul Leni / US, 1927 / 82 min.
An American 'gothic thriller' of 1927 with understated humour. While waiting for a will to be read, the heirs of a dying man have to spend a spooky night in a haunted house. With live music.

A gothic thriller about a family that has come to collect the inheritance but must spend a night in a spooky house first. The all too familiar theme is ingeniously developed in this silent thriller.
A performance in collaboration with the Utrecht School of Arts: the composition written by Bachelor of Music - Technology students is performed by the professional Keuris Ensemble conducted by Henry Kelder.
