Cinemini: Picknick met taart

Eye's Cinemini theatre is open especially for preschoolers and their parents. Every Sunday children between 2 and 6 can watch animated films and play, with their parents close by. This month we present illustrator Thé Tjongh-King, whose picture book Picnic with Cake was turned into a film.

Who does not relish Thé Tjong-King”s picture books filled with cakes, robbers and exciting hunts? Mascha Halberstad, Tom Van Gestel and Mercedes Marro turned these wonderful books into an animation series in short episodes plus a special, Picnic with Cake, which is now screened in Eye”s Cinemini programme.

Little Fox wants to bake a cake, but guess what? All the ingredients he needs to bake a cake got stolen!

Cinemini

Eye’s finest and most intimate film theatre is a great place for children aged 2 to 6 to experience their first cinema visit. Every Sunday morning, Eye’s Cinemini opens especially for preschoolers and their (grand)parents, where children are treated to a film, followed by experiments with light and shadow in small play tents.
