In this intimate lightscape, children can explore how light creates shadow images. Where does an image come from, how does it disappear into thin air, become larger or smaller or take on different shapes? What sort of stories do they inspire in children? What do they see in these shapes?

Cinemini
Film and play for kids aged 2-6
© Almicheal Fraay
Every Sunday morning, Eye's finest film theatre presents outstanding short films and animations, often from Eye’s own rich collection. After the screening, kids are invited to play with light and shadow in small play tents and on a large lightbox, especially designed by Taartrovers.
Eye’s finest and most intimate film theatre is a great place for children aged 2 to 6 to experience their first cinema visit. Every Sunday morning, this film theatre opens especially for preschoolers and their (grand)parents, where children are treated to a film, followed by experiments with light and shadow in small play tents.
