Renowned Polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski directed the section on Warsaw for the four-hour episodic film City Life, a project by Dick Rijneke and Mildred van Leeuwaarden. Rijneke will be present at the screening to talk about this collaboration with Kieslowski.

Twelve cities from around the world are included inCity Life, the monster project in which internationally renowned filmmakers from Mrinal Sen (Calcutta) to Béla Tarr (Budapest), Carlos Reichenbach (Sao Paulo) to Ousmane M’Baye (Dakar) were invited to take part by Dutch filmmakers and initiators Rijneke and Van Leeuwaarden.
