Friends for life since childhood, Léo and Rémi, two lanky 13-year olds are inseparable running through the flower fields owned by Léo’s family, sleeping in the same bed and experiencing natural, spontaneous intimacy whereby one person’s chest makes a good pillow for another.

Prior to the screening of Close, you will see the short film Bloeistraat (2018, 9 minutes) by Nienke Deutz. It's summer vacation, two best friends spend all their time together in the house. They are inseparable and prefer to do everything together. But the naturalness of their being together is put to the test by the intervention of puberty.
