The last ‘minimal movie’ by Pim de la Parra, who passed away in 2024, portrays the seemingly unruffled relationship between two couples living together. Comedy with a harsh undertone, shot in just ten days. For a long time, Dagboek van… could not be screened for legal reasons.
Audrey is a successful novelist and is married to Derek, a professor in the wondrous science of paradoxical logic. Loes is a car mechanic and horse owner who lives with painter Robert. The two couples seem to be good friends, but when they are together all kinds of irritations come to the surface, leading to funny, but also painful, complications.

Before the main feature, you will see the short film Karaoke! by Paul Ruven (9'), which also accompanied Pim de la Parra's film upon original release in 1993.
