Gerrie (68) from Rotterdam has been living on the Algarve with his second wife Rosa for years now, but is still officially registered in the Netherlands. Gerrie, who used to be a bus driver has COPD and travels to Rotterdam once a year for his check-up and other routine visits. He usually stays with his Cape Verdean stepdaughter and tries to reconnect with his eccentric son Dick (45) who has issues with himself and the world in general.
