Just like Frank Herbert’s novel Dune Messiah, Dune: Part Three takes place seventeen years later. Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) has seized power on the arid desert planet Arrakis and now – thanks to his special gifts – is worshipped as the divine emperor of the universe. Various enemies fear his growing power and are secretly plotting to depose him.
