To mark the premiere of Ik wil gelukkig zijn, Annette Apon’s documentary about the life of Dutch actress Fien de la Mar, EYE offers a programme of films from its own collection starring De La Mar. In this love drama made on the eve of World War II, the diva had a supporting role, Dutch author Jan de Hartog made his one and only film appearance and acclaimed actress Lily Bouwmeester stole the show.
