Lovely family film in which Ernest and Célestine return to Ernest’s country, La Charabie, to have his precious damaged violin repaired. They find out that music has been banned throughout the country for some years now.
Ernest is a lumbering, free-spirited bear and Célestine a go-ahead mouse. Our two heroes can’t even imagine living without music. Accompanied by helpers, including a mysterious masked militia, Ernest and Célestine try to right the wrong and so return joy and pleasure to bear country.
