Jules, better known under their stage name Aphrodite Banks, is one of London’s most celebrated drag queens. When they go to buy cigarettes after a drag show, they are attacked by gang of homophobic young men. As Jules tries to recover from the trauma, they recognise one of their assailants in the gay sauna they regularly visit. Without make-up, the latter is approached incognito and an affair is started with the violent, introverted Preston. The meeting is the start of a dangerous game of revenge.
