Filmmagie: Vreemde beesten en rare wezens

Filmmagie: Vreemde beesten en rare wezens

Around the shortest day of the year we celebrate Short Film Day. With a special film program we treat children to the best short films from Europe. You can then draw your own flipbook and learn how to make still images move. For ages 6+.

Strange creatures and weird animals in all shapes and sizes can be found in these films. After the film programme you can make your own flip book in the cinema and discover how to turn a still image into a moving scene (6+).

    Make your own flipbook (30')

After watching the films, you can stay in the cinema and make a flip book. A flip book is a little book with a small drawing that changes a little from page to page. When you flip through the book with your thumb, the drawings flash by really quickly, combining together to give the impression of a film. So with this flip book you’re actually making your own mini-cartoon!

Not suitable for children’s parties. All children must be accompanied.
